Tramway B

  • From Grenoble train station to the "Bibliothèques universitaires" (university libraries) stop on campus (25-minute journey), direction Gières, Plaine des sports

  • From Gières train station to the "Bibliothèques universitaires" (university libraries) stop on campus (5-minute journey), direction Presqu'île

By air

Travelling from Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport

  • Aéroport de Lyon Saint Exupéry, tel. 0 826 800 826 (1h from Grenoble)

  • There is a daily coach service from the airport to Grenoble, running every hour from 06:00 (6 a.m.) to 23:00 (11 p.m.)

  • Get off at the Grenoble bus station "Gare routière"  and continue on to the university by tram.

Traveling from Geneva airport

  • Aéroport de Genève, tel. 0 848 700 700 (2h15 from Grenoble)

  • There is a daily coach service from the airport to Grenoble, running every hour from 06:00 (6 a.m.) to 23:00 (11 p.m.)

  • Get off at the Grenoble Bus Station "Gare routière", from there take the Tram B to the university campus

Travelling from Grenoble Isère Airport

By car

Take the motorway to Grenoble from:

  • Chambéry: A41 - Chambéry (57 km), Annecy (106 km), Geneva (141 km)

  • Lyon: A48 - Lyon (116 km), Paris (576 km)

  • Valence: A49 - Valence (96 km)

Access the campus coming from:

  • Grenoble: junction 1 via Avenue Gabriel Péri

  • Saint-Martin-d'Hères: junction 2 via Avenue Gabriel Péri and Champ Roman

  • Rocade Sud (Ring road South): junction 3, "Domaine universitaire" (University complex)

Accommodation & Food

Hotels

Be sure to book well in advance, as other conferences are taking place at the same time in Grenoble (hotels close to the university are more likely to have rooms). List of nearby hotels.

CROUS (student housing) accommodation is also available for students and doctoral students.

Meals 

Snacks during the inter-session breaks will be provided by AgiLang, as will the cocktail reception on 12/6 and the buffet lunch on 13/6. 

You must register for the festive dinner on 13/6 (at an additional cost) at the same time as you register for the conference.  

The lunches on 12/6 and 14/6 are therefore at your own expense. On campus, you will find the restaurants La tab' verte and Martin's Café (for the latter, it is recommended to book in advance). There are also a number of CROUS restaurants on campus.
